Greg Shiflett, Partner

Greg Shiflett is Co-Founder and Partner of Kinglett Homes. Greg has had a 35-year career in the homebuilding industry and been a part of constructing over 3,500 homes in the Atlanta metro area.

After graduating from Shorter University in 1985, he began his career with Ridgeway Development Company where he served in various capacities including Vice President of Construction.

In 1993 he accepted a Vice President of Construction opportunity at Roberts Properties where he served for two years and successfully led the construction operations through consecutive years of growth. In 1995, he joined forces with Highland Homes which eventually transitioned to become Monte Hewett Homes in 2000. Greg became Partner in Monte Hewett Homes in 2007 and was a key figure in the company’s success, navigating through the housing downturn and helping to grow the company into a premier luxury home builder in the Atlanta market.

During Greg’s tenure as Chief Operating Officer, Monte Hewett Homes was named Builder of the Year and Developer of the Year. In 2007, his team was awarded the Development of Excellence Award for Westside Village. Greg was also an integral part of building Avalon which sold 101 homes with prices reaching as high as $2.2 million and was awarded Community of the Year in 2017. In 2016, Monte Hewett Homes was named one of Atlanta’s Top 25 Home Builders. Throughout his career, he and his team were awarded over a dozen Obie awards for design, floorplans, architecture, marketing and model homes. He served as COO at Monte Hewett until 2020 when he formed Kinglett Homes.

Greg resides in Atlanta with his wife Anne and three children.

Jeff Kingsfield, Partner

Jeff Kingsfield is Co-Founder and Partner of Kinglett Homes. He has more than 25 years of Atlanta homebuilding and operations experience.

After earning his degree in architecture from Georgia Tech, Jeff joined John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods as Builder and, later Operations Manager and was responsible for developing its custom-building business.

He then joined a small private builder in Paulding County as Vice President of Construction. He quickly grew the business and was named President of Southlife Homes in 1998, leading the company into Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Top 10 Home Builders.

In 1999, Jeff started his own homebuilding company, Vision Built Homes, enjoying solid growth and success leading to its acquisition by David Weekley Homes in 2004. Jeff served as Atlanta Division President for David Weekley until he rejoined the John Wieland Homes team in 2006 as Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations and a member of the senior executive team. In 2011, Jeff became Wieland’s Atlanta Division President leading efforts to grow the homebuilding business to over $150 million in annual revenue and achieving substantial growth.  Jeff helped navigate John Wieland Homes though two major acquisitions, including its 2015 purchase by The Pulte Group. He joined The Providence Group as Chief Operating Officer in 2016, growing the company into one of Atlanta’s top 10 builders and expanding its footprint into new markets in Atlanta, including the top-selling condo community, Pratt Stacks. Jeff served as COO at The Providence Group until 2020 when he formed Kinglett Homes.

Jeff and his wife Kelly have four children ages 18 to 31 and live near Chastain Park in Buckhead. Jeff and Kelly are both avid triathletes and IRONMAN World Champions. Jeff enjoys sports and wildlife photography in his spare time.
